Introduction
The RVI-G8 was especially designed to ask your neighbors for help in a simple, fast and secure way, in case of robbery or a medical emergency.
The number of users available goes from to 2 to 8 inclusive, and the only requirement for the system to work is that each user owns his/her own RVI-G8.
The device does not need any other security system to work, and in case you would like to strengthen it is also possible to incorporate sensors and other security devices to your home.
Main qualities
Nomenclature

“Community Network” Panel
In this panel, the user will identify (depending on the number assigned to each neighbor), which user is asking for help.
A green light in the panel (together with a siren) indicates a medical emergency.
A red light in the panel (together with a different siren) indicates robbery.
-Uses of the “Accept” button
1) Typically, the only use of this button is to notify the reception of any emergency generated by another user of the network.
Example
In a 4-users network, if User-3 broadcasts a medical emergency signal, the other three users (1,2 and 4) will have a green light turned on in their panels (in the led that belongs to the user number 3) together with an instrument siren.
In this kind of emergencies and also in case of robbery (red light on the panel), the users that receive the signal, will have to make a double notification, by pushing the “Accept” button twice: the first time, is to turn off the siren; the second time is to turn off the intermittent led.
2) Another possible use of this button is in case of any connection failure one or more of the RVI-G8s of the network.
Example:
Based on the previous example.
If the RVI-G8 of the User-2 presents a failure in the wireless connection, Users 1, 3 and 4 will be notified with a light in the “Network Failure” Panel:
If there is no emergency at the same time, users 1, 3 and 4 can verify which of the users has got the failure by pressing “Accept”. Immediately after pressing the button, a green light will turn on for 5 seconds in the place of User-2 (on the Community Network Panel).
If there is an emergency at the same time, the other users will have to make the double notification in the first place, and then they will be able to verify which user has got the failure.
3) The third and final use of this button is to configure the system.
“Network Status” Panel
220V (red led)This led remains turned on as long as the RVI-G8 is connected to the electrical power. In case the electricity cuts off, this led will turn off.. If the RVI-G8 is using the backup battery to work, no led will indicate it, but the users will be able to verify that the device is actually working by watching the “Active Network” led.
Active Network (green led)This led turns on immediately, every time the devices of the network communicate with each other. In case this led stops twinkling, it means that the RVi-G8 has lost its connection with the network.
Failure (yellow led)This led turns on when the system detects that one or more of the devices has/have got a communication failure.
“Emergency” PanelThis two buttons (Medics, Police) will be used in case the users want to ask their neighbors for help.
